Word Warrior: Zombie Typocalypse is the latest game released by the relentlessly creative, prolific and awarded independent US games studio Choice Provisions (formerly known as Gaijun Games) and Gamecraft Studio. And…drumroll…more drumroll… it’s been created with Anything World’s 3D animations, supercharging their dev time.
The action-packed adventure injects a refreshing silliness into the rail shooter genre with some seriously inventive and imaginative gameplay celebrating the “joy of outlandish mayhem in a post-apocalyptic setting”. Players are invited to pick their way through the remnants of humanity’s greatest cities, fighting hordes of undead.
Type in anything to see summoned objects transformed into zombie-killing projectiles, helping players to combat wave after wave of relentless ghouls. From summoning a giant rubber chicken to a fleet of flying toasters, the possibilities are endless and the results endlessly entertaining. The in-game Summonography is a visual encyclopaedia of players’ most creative and bizarre summons. They can earn further Achievements by mastering the art of summoning whilst progressing through the game's various challenges. Five multi-path levels offer distinct challenges and surprises with a face-off against five epic and memorable boss battles to test typing skills and creativity.
